The Problem
New York-based branding and design agency Wallace Church & Co. was in need of a creative partner to help launch Long Bay Resort’s return to the hospitality industry with a fully designed and developed website.
Working alongside Wallace Church & Co. to align on brand guidelines, our mission was to bring Long Bay Resort’s newly renovated identity to life through a combination of website design and development emphasizing the casual luxury of the resort’s brand image.
An island treasure newly rebuilt, Long Bay Resort’s renovation called for us to design landing pages unique to each of the resort’s key offerings. Along with a custom layout design, we crafted our own content to bring the new Long Bay Resort identity to life.
We designed an intuitive user experience across the resort’s website, making information about amenities, booking and experiences easily accessible to potential guests. Our development strategy included research into booking engines and hotel property management software to properly consult with the client on which would best suit their needs. We integrated and re-skinned the booking engine to fit seamlessly into the look and feel of the front-end design.
With the business under construction at the time of design and development, we created customizable and reusable content sections for an intuitive editing experience that allows Long Bay Resort to update and add new content in order to evolve with their growing business. In addition to hotel and privacy policies, we also implemented a designated page for Long Bay Resort to keep guests updated on COVID-19 and ongoing travel restrictions.
